League City Council Endorsement Clarification

On September 23, 2024, the GCRP Executive Committee voted to endorse Scott Higginbotham for League City Council.

It has come to our attention that League City Council candidate Tom Crews is using a large campaign sign, which states: "Endorsed by the Galveston Republican Party”; The year, "2022" is also shown below, but in a smaller, non-bolded font. 

While technically true, the overall appearance implies that Mr. Crews has our current endorsement. He does not. 

This clever tactic may mislead some voters. Therefore, we have asked Mr. Crews to remove this sign.
